Stuart Broomer

STUART BROOMER has written about music for numerous media, including Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, amazon.com, and specialist journals, among them Musicworks; Point of Departure; Signal to Noise, Coda, Cadence, and DownBeat.
He’s written over 60 liner notes for artists from a dozen countries, and in 2007 edited Secret Carnival Workers: the Selected Writings of Paul Haines (H. Pal/Coach House). He teaches courses in Jazz History and Culture at George Brown College in Toronto.
