Libby Scheier

Libby Scheier is the author of three acclaimed books of poetry, including Second Nature (Coach House) and SKY: A Poem in Four Pieces (Mercury), and a collection of short fiction, Saints and Runners (Mercury). Libby Scheier’s fiction has appeared in journals across Canada, including Prairie Fire, NOW, and Descant, and anthologized in Frictions; her poetry has been anthologized in Poetry by Canadian Women (Oxford), Women on War (Simon and Schuster), and many others. Co-editor of the widely read essay collection, Language in Her Eye (Coach House), Scheier taught creative writing, Canadian literature, and women’s studies.
