Barbara Caruso

Barbara Caruso, author of Wording the Silent Art and A Painter’s Journey, graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1965. Since 1966, she has mounted twenty-six solo exhibitions in private and public galleries in Canada. She has participated in over thirty-five group shows in Canada, the US, England, France, and Mexico. Her work is in public and private collections in Canada and the US. Barbara was the editor/designer/printer of Seripress (1972-1980), publishing visual and concrete poetry. Her writing on art has appeared in Canadian art and literary publications. She was the subject of a special issue of Open Letter. She exhibited new paintings in fall, 2005, at Artword Gallery in Toronto. Barbara lives in Paris, Ontario.
